Timing of Coin Acceptors

Here we examine the observed timing pulses of various coin acceptors.

Included mechanisms are:

• KAI-738 (Single coin comparitor mechanism)
• JY-923 (x3 coin programmable mechanism)
• CH-926 (x6 coin programmable mechanism)

Both KAI-738 & JY-923 mechanisms were tested by myself & CH-926 results were found on Vince's blog.

Vince observed that each pulse is followed by a 100ms pause in idle state (no matter the selected speed setting).

It is also noted that CH-926 has a LED array on the mechanism where JY-923 does not.
